      Housewives of New Jersey-a train wreck but you can't look away.
      Housewives of New York-really hysterical this season.
      Boss-Kelsey Grammer is spectacular in this starz series. worth watching.
      Weeds-Especially the series finale. Really good!
      Parenthood-first two episodes are great tear jerkers. Anyone who has had a child leave for college
                          must watch!
      Democratic Convention-There is no better speaker than President Bill Clinton. Simply the best.

  Fashion

     Vera Wang-all of her boots this season. Stunning.
     Prada-the flower handbag in red or purple. Soooo pretty.
     Kimberly Mcdonald-every piece of her jewelry rocks. Very overpriced...

  Lucia,Lucia by Adriana Trigiani - fluff.
  Fifty Shades of Grey by E L James-trash.
  The Art of Hearing Heartbeats by Philipp Sendkar-well written but a bore.
  Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn-can't understand what all the fuss was about. Manipulative.

Movies

   The Master-good acting. Poorly written and edited.

Television

   Republican Convention-they just didn't bring it. Clint Eastwood was a sorry disaster.
   The Emmys-Kimmel was a good host, but the show was a snooze.

Fashion

  All Kardashian clothing lines whether on QVC or at Sears...cheap and tacky.
  Wedgy Sneakers-what could be uglier?
  Faux Fur Vests - (sorry, Lex!)
